
Ingredients :
250 gm butter/margerine
130 gm castor sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp orange paste/orange emulco
1 tsp orange colouring
chocolate chips for deco
To be sifted :
300 gm flour
50 gm self raising flour
50 gm custard flour
50 gm cornflour
Method :
1- Cream butter & castor sugar
2- Add in egg yolk & vanilla essence & continue beating (manually also can)
3- Add in the colouring & paste
4- Add in the sifted ingredients till a soft dough is formed
5- Place a bit of dough in to the Dahlia mould & piped onto the baking tray
6- Place a chocolate chip on top
7- Bake in preheated oven at 175 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes
8- Once cooled, keep in an air tight container
